SAN RAMON, Calif. — March 20, 2007 — Audatex, a Solera company, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Rick Tuuri as Associate Vice President of Industry Relations.
In this newly created position, Rick will serve as a central point of contact for all industry-related opportunities in North America, working with his counterparts around the globe. He will be responsible for strengthening relationships with industry associations and representing Audatex within the automotive collision, insurance and recycling communities. In addition, Tuuri will drive corporate projects directed at furthering the company’s relationships with the markets it serves.
A 28 year veteran of the collision industry, Tuuri joins Audatex from I-CAR where he served as Director of Business Development for the past four years. Among other posts, he served as the Chairman of the Collision Industry Conference (2005 – 2006), as Chairman of the NACE Exhibitor Advisory Council (2000 – 2001) and as Chairman of the I-CAR International Board of Directors (1999 – 2001). Tuuri was inducted into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles in 2000.
