Audatex Announces Autosource Plus
SAN RAMON, Calif. — January 16, 2007 — Audatex, a Solera company, the global leader in automotive claims
processing, announced today the release of Autosource Plus, the company's new total loss valuation product
designed to speed the settlement of total loss claims and to improve customer satisfaction. Based on the same
market-proven, statistically valid methodology used in traditional Autosource, Autosource Plus includes enhanced
reporting capabilities that have been proven to facilitate settlement.
Autosource Plus also fulfills the new regulatory requirements recently established within the California Fair Claims
Practices Regulations. Autosource has been used successfully to process valuations in California for more than 25
years, providing clients with statistically valid and locally sensitive fair market values. Autosource and Autosource
Plus valuations include state-specific enhancements and a new California specific valuation format. Autosource
inputs more than 7 million vehicle records into its California database annually and over 100 million nationwide.
There are more than 600 California specific data sources encompassing direct electronic dealership feeds and
advertisements gleaned from additional sources including newspapers, automotive trade journals and Internet
websites.
“We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop solutions that help improve claims processing through
discussions with our customers," said Brian Grainger, Director of Product Management for Autosource.
"Autosource Plus is a perfect example of this process. With Autosource Plus, we make it easier for our customers to
explain everything about the process to their customers, the vehicle owners, which facilitates a better and quicker
settlement.”
